These are things that would be good to know about your world. Like, it wouldn't be unlikely for one of the lands to be ruled by elves. Or else elves only stay to themselves in their forests. Dwarves obviously prefer the underground as their home.

Oh! That brings up a related question. You've said anthros exist there, but what are they? Are they a separate race? Or maybe originally humans afflicted by a curse? Or even elves who decided to take animal forms.

lol,i guess anthros just existed too alongside and then some elves were like"oh SUƧ they be so fly" and they shapeshifted into looking like em,but before that anthros were a result of humans experimenting with forbidden magic on animals that a rogue deity gave em knowledge of.but then after those elves took to looking like anthros.hoomins hunted the elves anthros on accident and then they were cursed to be anthros!
so to summarize,,,eh?(that was a joke)


lol i'll just say it was something that happened with a deity bringing some crazy magic into the world,and that magic created anthropomorphic animals,and can turn hoomins into anthros and stuff too.
basically this deity is the one in charge of all things shapeshifty and change-ish,
and he created anthros under head honcho deity's supervision,and he said"good job,gold star" and he's cool n stuff,i dunno,

and sure,there's an "island" that's the main hub of dwarves,that's a GIANT MOUNTAIN,COMING UP FROM THE SEA,TO THE SKY
there's also smaller villages high up in the mountain for bird people
and i guess a foresty island for elves somewhere.
but yea,there are islands with like,a huge concentration of non hoomin races i guess,but we'll work on that another time

A God of transformation? That's perfect! And maybe some anthros and others would treat that god as their patron deity, and he's the source of all transformation magic energy.

And dwarves on a mountain island could make sense. Maybe their tunnels go far out past the boundary of the water, and maybe there are some Hawaiians on the surface.

but it's technically more brilliant on the inside,and the dwarves are there so that's why it's categorized as an island
also anyone's free to worship whatever deity they wish.but some places(i.e,that underwater city idea)are more likely to worship one deity

Well, in ancient Greece people would chose one god to pray to, sometimes with villages all praying to the same god, so that's what I was thinking of. But it could also just not be too relevant, like in LotR.

Book series I found. It's story telling is a bit choppy/disjointed but it seems like good material for learning how to world build.
