Hey I thought of something else for my cave idea. What if at least 2 of the islands were linked by one long undersea cave?

That would be interesting if we found something to do with it.

guardians are people who sacrificed their own lives to have eternal life,however,the ritual is forbidden,and the carrying out of it damages the stability of time,so these guardians are then forced by deities to maintain the stability of time,but the eternal life eventually drives the guardians insane,and they must die at the blade of a special dagger to restore stability to the world,or they wil eventually become mindless beings seeking only the destruction of time and the world.
arreynil's sister was tricked into the ritual,and she eventually went mad herself,having to have to have been killed by arreynil,who owned the special dagger

note:the ritual also grants those who become guardians with great power.
and their descent into madness varies for each person

so guardians are basicly like eturnals or perhaps a veriation for terrantes.
althrough unlike guardians eturnals have stricked rules and can make each other mortal at any time.
I can see why arreynil would hate them cause of his sisters.
