hey in a world of souls being able to be absorbed by monsters.
determination being something able to melt monsters.
and the acknowledgement of a save and reset system in the world.
i wouldn't rule it out.
also it could be more than just sociopath or someone wanting to die(i'm pretty sure if she wanted to die it'd be pretty simple to die...why torment anyone in the way?doesn't make since)

too many things to count,(an intense case of schitzophrenia perhaps, that is the psychological case in which one can't tell fantasy from reality,chara all thinks it could've been some game in which she's the bad guy,
actually that'd be quite poetic,since chara represents the player,and we think it's a game so...)

Hm.. Chara is the ghost of an evil psychopath child, who sold their soul, and tries to possess Frisk to kill everyone and wants steal their soul. I think that's what I'd call a demon.

Unless Frisk has the same soul that Chara had. Then... I dunno what that is @_@
Reincarnation? But the previous life is a soulless poltergeist so.. how did we get 2 of them?!

.... as far as I know the game lore, chara and asriel accidentally fed asgore buttercups he stold them they were poisonous and later on chara ate them to commit suicide.

.... suicide is a weird word now that I think about it. It means death but sounds like a medicinal item.
