That's persona 3's summoning method. They bring out their persona by accepting the fact they might die in battle then using that special gun to bring the persona out of their subconscious. Also slot, I believe that link would be the persona like marth was in fire emblem fates the persona/FE cross over.

Let's talk about stamina meters!
Stamina,that SUƧ's important,it's what limits exploration,your heavy atracks.it's important because it prevents you from being praxtically the captain america super soldier you want to be.because of that, You WANT to get better,you want to become that impressive olympic runner you've always dreamed of, you want to be able to plow through enemies with heavy attacks.you wanna be able to climb that mountain.
It's important for growth. Otherwise its just an obstacle or hinderance.
Let me tear donkey into skyward sword now. The only purpose THAT stamina meter has?is to limit your spin attack.which is understandable,the big draw to that game,was the one to one motion with sword play, using the spin attack is useful cause you clear out a group of enemies attcking you, but you gotta play it safe,which is interesting,kthe combat implementation there is interesting.
BUT, THEY TRY TO TACK IT IN EVERYWHERE,WHERE IT ISN'T NECESSARY
it serves as an obstacle,a pointless hinderance,it slows the gameplay,they give you a dash, but the world is so linear .it's like they put you in a hallway and told you get to the end, so you run to the end,but with that SUƧ stamina meter its like you take five steps then run out of breath,but it's against the lack of design because that world is so bland.
In an exploration game,at least when you run out of stamina, you take a chance to look around,get your bearings,you might see something neat, you'll be like "oh hey.whats that,oh,my stamina bar's full now,i'll run to that! Oh cool!"
But in skyward sword,its world is so bland,it's stamina bar only hinders you,when it's full you just run again,having had no real gain or loss from it,...it's pointless for having running stamina...if they just gave you the run,they know you'd use it to get that SUƧ over with faster.
What about those slope areas?" you may say....FAᖷ those,they're pointless,it's only slowing down a hallway,FAᖷ those,
it also limits how long you can climb on ladders and vines,but again,that only serves to increase the length of the game by those few seconds spent refilling it,instead of actually providing anything worthwhile,it povides the illusion of difficulty...
"but it provides realism!" No it doesnt,why don't i have to sleep then,why doesn't it increase if i train,why does a potion with bug guts infused in it make me never run tired? How come running on a green fruit refils the meter...
The only time the stamna meter woks in that game,is the combat,and the guardian realm,cause you're actually on a timer,it's a challenge there,you gotta think bout your movements,i'll give the game that.

the stamina bar in that can grow,that game is an open,expanse, world,it works there!
It grows and opens up more exploration, it just works.
it's used n combat,making you have to strategize.it works there.
It excels where skyward sword failed to use it!
