Yep. That did look scary just watching it happen and them turn into an ordinary paper cutout.
I was already interested in it before, but now im interested in it more. Its like a cool coloring book and you have to fill the color in, and you get to go on an adventure. Painting the world one color at a time.
The battles look like fun. Holding a deck of cards full of pictures. Just wondering which card to play to defeat your foe. Play your card, give it some finger paint and let 'em have it! So glad they improved the hammer timing cause Im really bad at timing the hammer and I always get close.
The paper world looks very nice too. Their improving it each time, and thats nice to see.

Indeed. And the thing card animations looked awesome, like for the fire extinguisher, the lucky cat, and the battery.

I miss the partner characters.

Yep. The Things were like cool showstoppers. Now their like these amazing spectacles you go see at a show or something.

And had their own ability and something to make them interesting to know about.

Yeah. That fire extinguisher really helped against Morton Jr. That flaming hammer nearly destroyed Mario. Good thing he blocked the attack, though.

Yooka Laylee is looking nice. I can't wait to play it as well next year.

Yeah. The ending part really made me think of Banjo-Kazooie with the way they spoke.

The trailer reminded me of it as well. It looked vast, colorful, and full of challenges.

I also have a feeling that Yooka and Laylee will have matching personalities to that of Banjo and Kazooie.

Maybe? Maybe not? We don't them to act too much like Banjo and Kazooie.

..Right Smash Bros.?

Yeah. You know, I have my own ideas for a Smash Bros. game. I'd call it Super Smash Bros. Custom, because you can customize the characters in-game in very many ways.

Okay. The game sounds customized.
Reminds me of Custom Robo. (or any game with its own customize feature) Since your customizing your character.
What will make it different? or the reason why custom is the key word?

Well, you can choose how or who the character will look like (Ex. You can make Mario look like Dr. Mario), how their stats are, what their special moves can be (Ex. For the Links, who'll now share the same slot, can use regular arrows, fire arrows, ice arrows, bomb arrows, or hawkeye arrows), and how their animations work.
For separate regular Nintendo characters, here are my ideas:
Mario, Luigi, Peach, Rosalina and Luma, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Yoshi, Wario, Mr. Game & Watch, Little Mac, Link, Zelda, Sheik (either still her own character or back with Zelda), Impa, Ganondorf, maybe Tetra, Samus, Zero Suit Samus (either still her own character or back with Samus), Ridley, Pit, Palutena, Takamaru, Fire Emblem Swordfighter (Can be Marth, Ike, Roy, Lucina, and maybe even Chrom), Robin, Corrin, Duck Hunt, Ice Climbers, Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight, Fox, Krystal, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Charizard, Mewtwo, Lucario, Greninja, R.O.B., Ness, Captain Falcon, Villager, Olimar, Wii Fit Trainer, Shulk, either the avatar or Elma from Xenoblade Chronicles X, and the Mii Fighters.

*whistles* ♪~. Alright. So the focus this time is making the Smashers more customizable to your liking while still keeping and making it enjoyable.
Is it still possible to play without customizing a character?

Yes, you can still play without customizing them. Of course, you may have to do a little bit of customizing if you want to play as other favorites, like Toon Link, Ike, Lucas, Falco, etc. I'm hoping to give each character a good variety of how to make their favorite characters.

Letting the Characters become bases for making others also sounds like an idea.

Thank you. So far, I already have a lot of different forms for Link. He can go as: Classic, Toon, Young, Hero of Time, Twilight Era, and Knight Academy, and maybe even his Breath of the Wild outfit.
