yeah it's pretty fun,not perfect but fun.

it's a good game,but certain things hold it back,i feel the whole thing of it being a retro homebrew genesis game originally holds it back,the original base for this game,despite upgraded.somewhat holds it bac,the soundtrack is okay,not bad but not good.the story is interesting,the writing for the characters is great,the developers have obviously a sense of humour,so that's nice.
the sense of progression is actually quite odd,i can't explain why,but battles are either tedious and nerve wracking,or fun,it depends on how the enemies feel like attacking,cause they can either decide to use their strongest moves constantly,target a single guy the entire fight.or be pushovers,it's really random.
the battle system however,is actually quite a good concept,having flying enemies on a different level and certain attacks are how you hit em,like an archer hits ground and sky enemies,but a sword wielder can't.
it's held back by the fact you must select every character's action before moving your turn,it limits the level of strategy and thought in each turn to a bare minimum.which isn't fun for an rpg.
it has potential,but it was missed,
