actually,he doesn't want to be dead,so he steals this pocketwatch which represents his fate and turns it back after an untimely death by the evil dog carface,
the only drawback is charlie shouldn't be able to go back to heaven after dying.
and it's not zombies it's a touching animated movie about how precious life is and how we should treasure it.but how we must all realize our time will come one day and we can't turn back time(at least that's how i took it)
there was also a sequel and an animated series

yeah,don bluth is my favorite animator
land before time,(never seen it actually)
dragon's lair the arcade game,
and possibly my all time favorite animated movie,all dogs go to heaven.

i remember watching the first movie,the second one,the cartoon series,even the christmas special...(the songs from that are pretty dam good)
