Zyphoids are insectoid creatures with a thirst for electrical energy, some especially as larva's have a sweet tooth for sugar and caffeine.
Zyphoids have 5 different forms not including the queen form only available for female zyphoids.
All Zyphoids produce mutagen as a waste product, which is dangeres to who ever tutchs it.
EGG:
A jellatness form at first but solidifies over a period of days, in this form it is very week and stationery.
Eggs can be found stuck to sealing and walls to protect them from predators, ranged attacks are recommended.
LARVA:
In this state Zyphoids have just hatched and are week but carry a defensive armor carapace, this makes them resistant to most weapons but smoke will disorient them.
Larva have a tendency to latch on to the heads of large creatures and drain the electrical energy inside their heads, this gives the pray brain damage and amisia but some can resist its effects if the larva is detached in time.
Consuming electrical energy makes the Zyphoid grow in size until it grow
